Eva Zettervall
We met Eva Zettervall in her studio in the southern part of Stockholm.
The painting in the picture above is called "Bat Woman". Eva´s fascination with strong women shows in many of her paintings.

In her paintings there is often more to discover than what one sees at first sight. In this painting, Bat Woman´s hip can change into the neck of another female figure wearing a necklace. Her paintings heightens one´s power of observation.

Above left, the painting symbolizes the meeting between a man and a woman, a meeting that is often complicated depending upon differences in individual experiences.

The portrait, above right, represents Eva Zettervall´s mother when she was young.
